336 likes, 20 comments - life_and_sunshine on May 7, 2026: "I’m having flashbacks today 😂 I know I finished my PhD over a year and a half ago 😂 but damn if the reminders aren’t just EVERYWHERE in this city 😅🙈 There’s really no escaping it 🥺 So I thought I would make a little post about it 😂 Plus the sun felt so good I just had to take a video 😜 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ But the great thing was that I did NOT have to go back to the lab, writing, or work in general after I saw those flags 🤩 I just sat there on that bench by the water and enjoyed the sunshine 😊 I felt wonderfully relaxed knowing I already defended and there’s nothing hanging over my head anymore 🥰 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ My heart goes out to those of you who do have to go back to the lab though 🥺 I know how you feel and what you’re going through! 😩 I’ve been there too!! 👩‍🔬 but stay strong!
