The Launch Control teams prepped the rocket for flight just like the real day (minus the fuel!). Teams in control rooms from Houston to Huntsville to Denver to California fixated on data pouring in from both the rocket and its spacecraft. Suited up and strapped in by the insertion techs, we watched from inside Orion as the hatch swung closed and its shadow filled the cabin. We were sealed in the home that millions made and that we will shepherd around the moon, atop the only rocket that can get us there. That was the last time we will sit inside until the real liftoff countdown is running. This weekend, the rocket rolls to its launch pad and we will be there. Next month, we aim to send it skyward!".
