The Army has been my priority for years. Sometimes I wonder if I’ve given so much to service that I forgot to build a life outside the uniform. I question if I’ll one day look up and feel behind — but right now, I’m where I chose to be. 2. Even in uniform, with rank and responsibility, I still question if I’m “enough.” Leadership doesn’t silence self-doubt. It took me years to believe my voice deserved to be heard. 3. I’m a woman in the military. I’ve had to prove my strength more than once — sometimes twice as hard for half the recognition. But I know exactly who I am now. 4. I’ve experienced burnout — from long deployments, early mornings, high standards, constant readiness. I’ve learned discipline isn’t just pushing through… it’s also knowing when to rest and reset. 5. I’ve struggled silently with anxiety. In a world that values toughness, vulnerability doesn’t always feel safe. But I’ve learned strength and softness can exist in the same body. 6. There were moments I questioned my path. I’ve thought about leaving the Army more than once. But service, structure, and the people beside me keep pulling me back. 7. Fitness is my therapy. Running clears my mind. Under a heavy ruck or during a long run, everything else fades — and that’s where I find peace. 8. Some of my closest friends wear the same boots I do. The bonds built in shared struggle are different. They’re deep. They’re real. 9. I love adventure — new bases, new cities, new challenges. I trust that wherever I’m stationed next is exactly where I’m meant to grow. 10. I’m independent. I value freedom. I’m proud I can stand on my own. But sometimes carrying everything alone feels heavy. 11.
